Terrific: free-riding under the gaze of the Grossglockner
In the Grossglockner/Heiligenblut skiing area no fewer than 5 marked and tested free-ride routes with a total length of over 10 km await you - and the possible routes are almost infinite, right from the highest part of the skiing area at an altitude of nearly 3,000m down to the valley bottom at 1,200m.
The Möll Valely Glacier near Flattach offers the exquisite delights of Carinthia’s highest "Powder Pleasures" - and this all year round!
And the Ankogel near Mallnitz long ago established itself as an "insider tip" for free-riders, excelling on account of its vast area and first-class snow conditions throughout the winter season.
Our tip:
Using open slopes away from the secure pistes requires skill and experience. Therefore we recommend that non-experts hire a certified mountain and ski guide for support. For further information and booking, go to info@tauernalpin.at!
